One of our favorite retailers still is Bed Bath & Beyond who haven’t given up their efforts to compete with the Online Giants. In Bed Bath & Beyond last three quarterly reports they have beat expectations by roughly 3% to 22% with EPS highs of $1.48 back in February but have been on a gradual decline in recent history.
CarMax Inc. (NYSE:KMX)
If you’ve purchased a used car recently, you’ve probably heard of CarMax Inc. CarMax is one of the largest used vehicle providers as well as financiers of used automobiles. Last quarter, the company was able to upset the forecast by 9%, but they two quarters before they fell short on expectations by -1% to -13%. Looking at KMX’s chart, we can see there’s a very defined and obvious up-trend that it has followed since conception. Although we have dips here and there, it tends to correct after forming new highs.
OMNOVA Solutions Inc (NYSE:OMN)
OMNOVA Solutions is a specialty chemical company that produces polymers and other products for commercial, industrial, and residential use. Based on 3 analysts estimates, the consensus earnings per share this quarter for OMNOVA is anticipated to be $0.22 a share. In the last two earnings reports, the company has beaten consensus estimates by 5% and 28% respectively. Shares of OMN are currently trading in the middle of its 52 week range, being about $2.00 away from its 52-week high and low.
